Job Description

Increase regional training for new business, SMEs and high value Consumer Business Opportunities

Responsible for strategy development, channel marketing and business plan and implementation for the acquisition and maintenance of existing and potential accounts in the area
Manage performance management tools for DSA channels and channel managers in the areas.
Provide strategic support to improve the delivery of regional targets
Oversees the teams to ensure the activity of the appropriate sales pipeline. Provides stimulating asset transactions and movement of opportunities to close.

Performance Management

Provide strategic support to improve the delivery of regional sales objectives of the company.
Develop procedures for setting and communicating business objectives and sales performance monitoring.
Deploy relevant indicators to regularly monitor progress against objectives and to recommend appropriate measures to ensure that targets are met or exceeded.
Manage vendors effectively target companies incentive to ensure drive for better performance.
Provide data on sales performance to support management decisions
Ensures timely submission pipeline updated in a weekly basis.
Maintains a development account (ADP) for all accounts within the regional portfolio and ensures timely submission of the same to HQ on a monthly basis.
Directly supervises the daily activities of Key Account Managers.
Ensure that all claims and bills are up to date in terms of collections.
To ensure the speedy execution of all works contracts in particular from the end customer (ie sign).

Assured sustainable revenue growth in the region.

Proactively protects the position of Airtel and claims leadership positions in the Airtel markets in the areas of strategic solutions.
Meets or exceeds Month after month, quarterly and annual revenue and margin quotas.

Proactive competitor intelligence and Market Insight.

Monitor and collect all the activities of the competition in the area and implement or recommend against-measures to win the competition.
Encourage and develop opportunities to have an Airtel presence in all areas of the sector, through the area

Expand sales channels and market access

Identify and recruit appropriate third party business partners to acquire customers in the area
Develop toolkit for managing the performance of third party sales agencies and contract staff
Take ownership to ensure the availability of resources required to achieve the sales targets zonal
Responsible for the implementation of appropriate controls to ensure the quality of service by third party business partners

Trade and sales team information dissemination and Training

Conduct regular sales training business needs analysis
Coordinate content development and delivery of programs to improve skills to enhance professionalism of the team of corporate sales
Effective interpretation and cascade all new value propositions of business (trade and client) to the sales team to regional businesses

Skills and experience required

Technical skills and competences functional /

Degree in science courses and related technology, economics, business administration or any other social science courses.
Masters in Business Administration would be preferred additional qualification ? MBA in marketing or diploma with specialization in Marketing will also be preferred.

Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years)

5-7 years experience working with ~ 3 years of relevant experience in the telecommunications industry.
These years 2-3 years should be in telecom business and products / services Enterprise Solution Sales / Marketing.
A minimum of 2 years in management role.
A thorough knowledge of products trade data carriers and applicable markets
